Some medical conditions such as Marfan syndrome and Goshen syndrome can lead to the decrease of elasticity of the skin hence causing stretch marks to appear on the skin. 

5. Rapid Weight Gain

This usually occurs in people who are involved in bodybuilding activities.

Eat a healthy diet that contains vitamins and minerals. Vitamins A and C, as well as minerals like silicon and zinc, help to support skin elasticity. 



3. Aim for Slow and Steady Weight Gain

Always try not to gain weight rapidly as this may lead to stretch marks, instead try to maintain a slow and steady weight gain to avoid contraction and expansion of the skin which always leads to stretch marks.


4. Drink 6 to 8 Glasses of Water Daily

Drinking lots of water ensures that you are always hydrated which increases skin elasticity.
